Welcome to the last part of the Technology Matching Fund & Digital Navigator Cohort Grant blog series! In this series, Seattle IT will be covering the Technology Matching Fund and Digital Network Cohort which is a project to build onto Seattle’s Digital Equity Statement and how qualifying non-profits can apply.
The 2022 Digital Equity Grants deadline are coming up this Friday! On May 13, 2022, at 12 p.m. people planning to apply to the Technology Matching Fund (TMF) or the Digital Navigator Grant Cohort (DN) are expected to turn the application in through the online portal.
Both grants are a part of the City’s Internet for All framework. The lack of sufficient internet or access to internet-accessible devices and technical skills plays a significant role in why some individuals remain unconnected. This is why the City is determined to partner with organizations that support communities in a holistic way. In this partnership, the City and these organizations will be able to reach out to diverse populations that need digital support.
The application must be completed and submitted online, and all sections must be complete. To view a PDF of the applications you can visit https://seattle.gov/tech/tmf. You may include other material in your application, such as documentation of partner or volunteer commitments, curriculum, cost quotes on budget items and the like, to help reviewers better understand your proposal and strengthen your application.
