Reliable internet keeps your programs running, your staff connected, and your community served. Now, the City of Seattle can help cover that cost. The Internet for Nonprofits program is open for applications, and it offers free high-speed internet to local nonprofits.
What the Program Offers
The City of Seattle wants to make sure every organization has the internet access it needs. Through this program, your nonprofit can get free internet service. This helps you strengthen digital access, support your programs, and lower your operating costs.
We offer this program through partnerships with Comcast and Astound. It is part of the City’s work to make affordable internet available to everyone.
If you are selected, you will receive business-tier internet service. You can also choose to renew it each year.
Who Can Apply
This program is open to Seattle-based nonprofits located in a Comcast or Astound service area. To qualify, your organization should meet these points:
You serve communities affected by the digital divide. These are people who lack reliable, affordable internet access.
You provide digital skills, technology access, or essential social services.
You need reliable, high-speed internet to support your programs, staff, or daily operations.
How to Apply
Applying is simple. Here is what to do:
- Visit the City’s FLUXX portal.
- Fill out the application.
- Submit it before December 31, 2026.
We accept applications on a rolling basis, so you can apply anytime before the deadline.
