Technology Matching Fund program

Tonight from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Beacon Hill Library, you can learn more about the City of Seattle’s Technology Matching Fund grant program. The program was established in 1997 to support the community’s efforts to close the digital divide and encourage a technology-healthy city. It provides grants where the community’s contribution of volunteer labor, materials, professional services, or cash is matched by the Technology Matching Fund.

The City is awarding matching grants of up to $20,000 per project to increase technology literacy or use of technology tools for civic engagement for Seattle residents. At tonight’s workshop, you can learn about the eligibility requirements, how to apply and what makes for a successful application.

The deadline to apply for a Technology Matching Fund grant is March 12. More information can be found at www.seattle.gov/tech.
