Keep yourself safe online! Seattle celebrates Data Privacy Week with three special events for the public

The City of Seattle is celebrating Data Privacy Week and spreading awareness about online privacy. We think data privacy should be a priority both for individuals and the organizations that protect the publics’ personal information.

Our goal is twofold: we want to help residents understand that they have the power to manage their personal data online, and we want to help reinforce the City’s commitment to privacy and our commitment to protecting resident data.

Data Privacy Week takes place January 26 – 30, 2026. The City of Seattle is promoting several events designed to help keep you safe online. Check it out!
