The City of Seattle seeks volunteers for the Community Technology Advisory Board: Shaping the future of technology and digital equity in Seattle

The City of Seattle is looking for volunteers to join the Community Technology Advisory Board (CTAB). The 10-member board and its committees help guide city strategies and investments in information and communications technology.

CTAB members advise Seattle’s information technology department, the Mayor and City Council on a range of issues, including broadband, digital equity, mobile and web based city services, privacy and surveillance, community engagement, small cell/5G deployment, and access to technology for students, families, and underserved residents.

Applications are being accepted through 5 p.m. on November 30, 2020. Apply by sending a letter of interest and resume in either Word or PDF to ITD_ctab@seattle.gov. (If you need help saving into either format, please contact us.)

The City is looking for an inclusive board representative of our community. Board members come from a variety of backgrounds and do not need to work in technology to contribute. We are currently looking to fill multiple positions. This a great opportunity to impact change directly with and learn more about government to help our community. Please go to seattle.gov/ctab for more information.

The City of Seattle promotes race and social justice in the makeup and work of its board members and commissioners. We encourage multicultural members of all ages, gender identification, and abilities in our community to apply. Additional information about the CTAB position appointment:
